Morikami Park Elementary PTA
Adopt-A-Class Program 2010-2011
Dear Parents,
Welcome back to your “A” school! We hope you had a wonderful summer! The Morikami Park PTA is proud to invite you to Adopt A Class, Grade or School in 2010-2011. The funds from this program will be used to enhance classroom opportunities as well as create opportunities for new ones. Last year through this program, we raised over $20,000 for teachers and staff! Teachers will be able to purchase books, art supplies, musical instruments and many more educational resources they feel will enhance their classrooms.
We are seeking donors, both business and individual, to adopt a classroom, including specials, for $150.00. This money goes directly to the adopted teacher. Names of families or businesses will be recognized in our PTA newsletter and a banner with the names of all donors will be displayed in the school lobby.
In an effort to maintain equality among ALL our classrooms, MPES administration and PTA supports the Adopt-A-Class Program’s goal to have EACH faculty member adopted. Please keep in mind that ALL of our teachers are integral parts of Morikami Park Elementary School and need support!
Many businesses will match an employee’s donation so please ask YOUR employer about becoming involved in this most important program.
We have proudly added two new opportunities to support MPES. Adopt-A-Grade supports ALL the ink and toner needed for every teacher in the grade for one year. Each teacher uses a large amount of ink in their own class every day! Adopt-A-Grade is offered at a fee of $500 per grade and will enable PTA to purchase ink for many printers!
We are also very excited to offer ADOPT A SCHOOL at a fee of $1000. The donor will receive recognition for their very generous donation from Mrs. Elfe and the funds will be used to purchase student golden globe awards, golden pencils awards and other student incentives.
All donations ARE tax-deductible. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
