Green School of Excellence
In April of 2009, Morikami Park Elementary School became one of only three schools in Palm Beach County to be awarded the Green School of Excellence title for the 2008-2009 school year. In addition to this honor, we tied for 2nd place in the Green School Recognition Program, earning a $1,000.00 cash prize to be used for Green School projects.
