On behalf of the Morikami PTA we wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!
We are having a great year so far, our 1st Go take a Hike event was a huge success and fun was had by all, and Team Morikami participated in there second walk last month for the American Cancel Society. Morikami Park Elementary had an amazing 10 Year Celebration that brought back many friendly faces to our Morikami Family for the day.
We have a wonderful event coming up this month, PTA Family Fitness Night on Wednesday November 12th, get ready for a great workout. Wear your Team Morikami attire and get entered in a raffle. Please look for information to come home on all PTA events and look for info on the website!

The application for the 2009-2010 school year is now available on line. The deadline is December 19, 2008. Those parents who would like to apply for a sibling and or future student must submit an application and mail it before the deadline.
Do you have extra change around your house? If the answer is yes then the Safety Patrols want it! The "Pennies for Patrols" container is located in the front office on the counter.

MPES is sponsoring a book drive to collect new or used books for 2 local schools.
Orchard View Elementary & Village Academy
These schools need to provide their students with reading materials and do not have the funds. Please show your support for these needy schools by dropping off an elementary level book in the drop box next to the elevator.
